mathsisfun.com has come to my rescue over and over again recently!! seriously I don’t remember very much from maths GCSE at all. someone’s gotta remind me how adding and subtracting negative numbers works!!

Okay y’know what?? Git commandline is not that scary!!! (I was having trouble authenticating github desktop bc it wouldn’t redirect back to the app for whatever reason? So I spent about an hour figuring out how to get SSH working on the commandline xD)

So it took like three days to back up all of my files ever. Mainly it took a long time because I wanted a fallback cloud backup tooo.
But!! I installed debian on my computer the other day, and I’m pretty much all set up and ready to go now?? I still have a lot of files to sort through, I think. But all of the most important ones have been reorganised now!

becoming so so. obsessive? re: cross-checking information between like at least 3 sources that as far as I can tell were written by real people with histories and track records. and I still feel like information I find online is dirty
seo farms that gunk up searches with ai-generated nonsense are the absolute bane of my existence lately :(
